Jesus is My Source of Joy

Jesus puts an end to my inner confusion;

He is stability, between the good and evil in me;

My focus, that keeps me balanced on the narrow path;

With my right hand holding what in me knows as good,

The left hand grasps the awareness of the me that is evil,

I walk with my heart and my spiritual eyes locked on Jesus;

He keeps me from falling far on the left and drowning in my sin;

Or from shift in direction to the right, pridefully in self-perfection;

I surrender my will to my Father, Who established all of my ways,

In the perfection of Jesus my Savior; Author and finisher of my faith;

Jesus is the source of Life, Love, Peace, Joy, Hope, and self-control;

Spiritual fruit for the new creature that was born in me by faith in Him!

Once I was lost, without hope, no joy; my life completely out of control!

Jesus is my righteousness, He turned me right-side up, my cup overflows!
