Vapors rise to form clouds and dreams.
Most take flight to drift on a pleasant breeze,
Then dissipate unremembered.
The few give of themselves to the nurturing of green hills;
Causing flowers to bloom in bursting color!
While others grow, gather, rumble, and flash!
Turning day to night under fear’s shadow;
Destructive damaging force!
Genesis in primordial mist of human imagination…
The world we created first in our dreams,
Then swept away in the flood of our iniquity!
I surrender these misty dreams of mine to Holy Spirit sway!
I prepare for that Day when a world created from toxic fumes
Is burned and only Holiness remains.
I prepare for that day too.

What facets those clouds you painted. So dark, frightening and horrible. And yet a great reminder to turn to His grace.

“as in the days of Noah”:0) we are living in times beginning to resemble those days. Grace won’t be offered forever.

Yeah…those are literal clouds doing lots of literal damage.

That is so good, you paint a world full of wonderment and danger waiting for Jesus to return. The clouds here are not sending down any rain just threatening to rain. Other parts of the country it is raining send some of your rain over here.

We’ve had April showers which is really unusual here. It’s a green spring by NM standards.:0)

The temp is just right here and the cotton woods turned green while I was in AZ. I have some Iris blooming but they look pretty pitiful. I’m going to try and get out and love on my plants a little this afternoon.

Our plants are a gift from God, they bloom just when we need them too. Bringing a smile to our face.

At least, I got to see the Saguaro bloom while I was down there. Usually, they bloom earlier in the spring but this year they waited for me. They have so much personality and each crown is a bit different.

I want you to know I’m praying for your health and the doctors you are consulting at the Mayo Clinic/institute

Awww Jim, thanks. I’m sorry I haven’t posted. It was a trying week and pretty much a disaster. I know it was your prayers that got me through it though. I’ll keep trying. God has a better plan.

Hang in there Pam! God has reminded me different times this week to pray for certain prayer requests and yours was one of them. Get much rest sister, if you can!

We must stay under the Grace and be prepared for when the day comes. Very profound poem. How are you doing my dear Pam? You’ve been on my mind and in my prayers. Blessed be.

The trip to Mayo was a disaster. They were very unorganized, mistakes on my lab results, and I came away confused. God has another plan for me. I feel better since the weather is very moderate right now (at home anyway the a.c. was terrible for me in AZ) but I have nerve damage. I’m going to focus on getting my strength back and keep moving forward. I’ve lost a lot of feeling and strength in my left hand. I hope if I treat myself right some of it will return. It definitely puts a crimp in my blogging though…you are in my prayers too and thank you for thinking of me. God bless.

I’ve been thinking of you, Pam, wondering how you are doing. Over the past several days I kept checking back here to see if you had posted anything new. Finally I decided to leave a comment asking how you are, and that’s when I saw your latest comments about your difficult time at the Mayo clinic.
I am relieved to see that you are still here, but so sorry about your ongoing health difficulties. I am praying for you.

The weather is the perfect temperature now and I’m feeling better. The flare I was in last winter seems to be under control. I have nerve damage in my left hand that makes it hard to type. Nerve damage can heal and that’s what I’m focusing on right now. Mayo was terrible. Beurocracy and good health care don’t go together. There’s also, a lot of bigotry in the system toward people with hep c and related complications. In short, my condition is very hard to test for with accuracy but the system demands tests as documentation before doctors can treat. I have past documentation and my doctor has been treating symptoms based on past positive tests probably at risk to himself. If I want treatment specific to my cryoglobulinemia I’m going to have to wean off the medication I’m on now and allow myself to get very sick again so they can hopefully, get some accurate tests. It’s kind of silly but it’s the way things are now and Obamadon’tcare…
Thanks for caring Linda. I hope you are doing well. I’m letting my hand rest in hopes of getting some feeling and function back so, don’t be alarmed if I’m not online much. Have a wonderful summer and God bless.

Rest all you need. Every time I catch myself wondering how you are, I will take that as a reminder to pray for you. I first “met” you online a little over 5 years ago when you were a frequent guest on another blog. You have maintained your sweet spirit and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ through all of life’s ups and downs. You are precious.

The weather is the right temp right now so, I’m feeling better. It warm but not hot enough to have to use a.c. I have nerve damage that makes it difficult to type. Sometimes, that can heal. I’m letting my hand rest but I will be around. I went to another state to see doctors who are supposed to be more knowledgable than what I have at home but it didn’t pan out. I’m frustrated but right now, I’m putting them out of my mind and focusing on what I can do naturally to heal and get some strength back. Thank you for caring and for asking. I hope you are well?

Sorry to hear your AZ Mayo visit went flat, Pam :-;/ Hope your nerve-accomodating weather continues! Are you using an Apple computer? Apple has accessibility options that can allow you to speak in lieu of type your posts. It’s handy in a lot of ways. I find it helpful with my RP and like to let the iPad read long posts to me 🙂 ♥ ❤

Thank you. My husband wants to buy an Apple for me but I want to see where the medical bills leave us first. I will be back. I have a lot to work through and am kind of overwhelmed. I haven’t given up though and have upcoming apointments. I’m enjoying being outdoors as much as I can, exercising, and resting. Nerves heal but I need to work at it. Thank you for the support.

Hi Jim, thanks for asking. I have appointments coming up with local doctors, a hematologist and a neurologist. I’m not sure which direction I’m going right now. I’m at the end of the amount of time I can take prednisone so, either I taper off into an immuno suppressant or stop taking it for awhile, try to get some accurate tests for cryo when I flare and start retuxin infusions. My inflammation is better, I have residual nerve damage and neuropathy. I still have pain in response to cool temps but the weather is nice right now. I haven’t been online much because I’m hoping some of the nerve damage in my left hand will heal.
How are you?
