I Am standing, suffering self-contained.
Perpendicular to mankind’s reason;
Gazing over the vast expanse of time;
My vengeance is self- constrained!
Directing each and every season;
Toward the right conclusion of time;
In spite of the evil I left unrestrained!
Reclaiming all that I lost to treason;
Limit it to time, time, and half a time!
I leave My holy righteousness ingrained,
In children’s hearts, Spirit infusion!
Freeing them all from the prison of time;
Until Death’s sting I have fully contained;
Ending forever the universal confusion,
When by man Death began marking time;
Dispelling every deadly, strong delusion!
Of mortal human gods unrestrained;
Honor the One standing outside of time!
Omnipotent, perpendicular to our reason,
Jesus’ shed blood cleansing all sin stained!
God’s benevolent grace, saving age in time;
By My right arm! Defy age of human reason!
I Am standing, suffering self-contained.
Hi Pam!

Hi Wally, How are you doing? Are the leaves turning in Arkansas yet?

Not even a bit Pam. It’s a weird year. 800 at night and it’s 80 degrees

It’s been weird here too. So dry that the cactus wilted and the cedar bushed and sage brush died. The river is almost dry too. We finally got some rain this week as remnants of Rosa. We surely appreciate that rain! We’re going to turn cold next week.

Hi Jim, I’m sorry it took me so long to see this. I’m doing pretty well for an old lady. I think we are near-to-finish on remodeling our condo. Then the real work of getting rid of things and getting our home ready for the market will begin. Down-sizing isn’t easy but I’m looking forward to small bills and small chores. My health is better than it was. How are you?

Thanks for the update and comment, appreciate it always when we hear from you Pam! Downsizing doesn’t sound easy at all, not to me at least. I’m glad to hear the Lord sustaining your health. I am doing well, been busy as I”m preparing for overseas to teach theology again this fall in a country requiring creative access and also I have been asked to do my first funeral which was of an older woman who use to read my blog back when there was a Xanga website and she’s prayed for me in the Marines, college, relationship, marriage and ministry. I’m trying to read on funerals and do everything with routine ministry but GOD has been sustaining me

Hi Jim, I am well and finally getting closer to the end of this whole down-sizing adventure. I’m feeling pretty good these days and I’m enjoying having fewer chores. I hope to get back to writing soon. How are you and how’s your ministry?

I’m doing well, ministry is going well in terms of spiritual growth of people though we are physically declining in numbers (these days it feels we have about 12 core members and then a lot of kids and special needs attendees on top of that). Still there’s a growth in love of God and love for each other. I still go overseas twice a year to teach and train pastors. Overall I’m doing well; it is so good to hear from you again Pam, anything I can pray for you for?

I always have something, Jim.:0) My son cut his right hand ver badly on some broken glass. He severed tendons and nerves and had to have surgery. He can’t work right now and our family is pulling together to try to keep him from losing everything before he recovers. Like most working class people in our area, he has no health insurance. He’s facing six months of PT. So pray for him to regain the use of his thumb and for all of us to be able to help meet the financial needs of his family. How can I pray for you?

I just prayed for your son’s hand. That sounds very serious. I’m praying for all of you guys to be able to be blessed financially to be able to help your son out. Pray for me as I minister to very broken people and I have guys who are special needs and other issues too, besides the issue of sin. I really hurt for people as I love them and I want to see them grow in Christ or even come to Christ.

So many broken people. Drugs have really done a number on people in the U.S. It gets worse with each generation. I will pray for you and thank you for praying for us. Your heart for Christ is a blessing to me and I’m sure to many others.

Sincere pastors are easy to pray for.:0) The other kind need prayers too but they don’t come so easy. I appreciate you, Jim.

Hi Jim, sorry I’m slow to get back to you. I keep thinking I’m going to get back to writing but I enjoy not being online so much. The organic world that God created for us is so much better for us. I’m trying to teach this to my grandchildren so, I need to set the right example for them. I am concerned about what the virtual world is doing to children, my adult children as well. How are you and how is your ministry going?

I have the same concern for my generation and younger getting sucked into the virtual world than the real physical world and real human relations. Ministry is well, our church is at a better direction and we had a guy who left for college that just got saved. Ministry is at a better place than some years back when I asked you to pray and at one point thought about quitting. Thank you for your prayers then. I’m glad to hear from you Pam, really glad.

I do miss real people like you that I’ve met in the virtual world. It’s good to hear that your ministry is doing well now. I’m very glad you didn’t quit. The church in the U.S. needs genuine pastors. We need you and I’ll keep you in my prayers. God bless and keep you Jim.

Yes, as well as someone can be in NM in 2020. We have one of those overreaching governors wrecking the constitution and our economy. I’m bless to have a home and enough food to eat because there are many who don’t. I’m homeschooling my grandsons and they are a blessing that keeps me focused on the future and what lyes beyond this current situation. Hope you are well and that your church is growing despite the persecution that is still thankfully, mild compared to other countries. God bless you and thank you for always remembering me.

So glad to hear from you. Our state of California seems to have been crazy. Second night of right I had some eager opportunists drop by our place at 2 AM that I had to pull out my firearms (but didn’t use) because three blocks away two weeks before Flyod’s death the police shot an armed man. I had many sleepness nights but I’m ok now. The Lord has blessed our ministry with people but I’m exhausted. Glad to hear you are homeshooling and hanging in there!

As well as can be expected in this bizarre time. I’m homeschooling my teenaged grandsons and very busy. How are you? I think we both have tyrants for governors. Our economy is a wreck but suddenly my small city is very busy as people are fleeing big cities and buying homes here, from people here fleeing to states that are more free. Life is surreal and I’m still holding out hope for normality but that might have to wait for Christ’s return.
