The Choice

Jesus loves everyone yet, so few ever think to truly love Him in return. Most refuse to believe that such a man existed as the Son of God and the Son of Man. The idea seems impossible so, they downsize Jesus into a form they can relate to and understand. Prophet, teacher, a myth, philosophical allegories are the boxes spiritually blind human beings use as a neat place to categorize and store Jesus. Once packaged and labeled, He is then stuffed in back of a dark closet of the mind. Jesus becomes another file to pull up from memory to be used as self justification or to impress another with personal intellectual prowess. In those who are bitter toward God because they don’t approve of how He governs or are mad because He didn’t acquiesce to their personal requests, Jesus becomes a weapon of ridicule to use against those who name, Jesus and are known as His followers. Jesus Christ is a favorite curse word for those who in their anger of not getting what-they-want-their-way, deny the existence of God even though, their whole angry state of being and every word they speak against God and His Son, defines them. Still, Jesus loves them and views them as equal with all of God’s errant children. Many of the religiously pious also, miss out on recognizing the power of God’s love expressed to the uttermost in Jesus, the Son of God and the Son of Man. Priding themselves upon adherence to traditions and doctrines, they trade in the power of God for a form of godliness and their pride inhibits the power of God’s love from transforming their lives. Yet, Jesus loves them. Still others live out their lives by instinct, following the desires of their heart that can never fill what every heart hungers for, the filling of divine love. Jesus loves these children too. He gave His life for all of us in obedience to God, His Father and also, to all of God’s errant children, as an expression of pure, sacrificial love. He poured out His blood for the purpose of covering all of our error to give us the opportunity to reconcile with our Father by adoption through Christ that we might become like Jesus, sons of men and sons of God. Though Jesus made this sacrifice centuries ago, it still remains open for an unknown length of time but not forever. This offer is available to everyone because God plays no favorites and above all things: God honors the ability He gave us, to choose. Whatever any of us decide to believe about Jesus, or the place we give Him in our life is our personal, sovereign choice and no matter the consequences, God will not take that power of self away.

Look around you, look behind the present virtual-iron-curtain of delusion, and examine the true state of the world in which you are living. The world offers many things but it doesn’t offer love. It is a hard, cruel place that entices all with exciting, temporary pleasures that generally, come at the personal expense of self and others. The world created by human beings is vicious, a place where one will become either predator or prey, and the struggle to survive over-rides any happiness derived from material gain or personal power. Into such a world everyone of us in born and also in each of us, is a void that hungers for divine love. Instinctually, we know what we hunger for is the very ingredient missing that keeps the societies we build from becoming a paradise. This realization when we allow it and then couple it by looking within to see we are like the community we live in because it is of us and we too lack divine love and are possessed by a dark void. A hole, where love that goes beyond a warm feeling or a fragile, emotional bond is absent, a cavity in the soul that only divine love can completely fill. None of us can give the world what we don’t have and the only, way we can receive the love we hunger for and the world so desperately needs is to allow Jesus to come into our lives and be made complete. This doesn’t mean we will become instantaneously, perfect but when we are reconciled to a right relationship with God, when we are adopted into His family, a spiritual training process begins and though we remain human as the offspring of man, we also become the spiritual children of God. Choosing first to accept God’s divine love by accepting Jesus as the person He describes Himself to be and personally, applying his sacrifice is the first step in learning how to love as Jesus loves. Learning to love Him back is the process of living for Christ rather than for self and then, choosing to love others with the same kind of divine love we receive from Jesus in hopes that others who are hungering for love will also, invite Jesus into their lives.

I see turmoil increasing in the world around me and the specter of it causes even this old believer to sometimes, feel threatened. It seems darkness is descending and many are actually, calling for that descent. Angry ears are deaf to love but the night enveloping the world is the void that exists in every fallen human being; a gaping black hole that only divine love can fill. Jesus is the embodiment of divine love. None of us have the power to change or fix the world but each of us retains the power of personal choice. Jesus is the answer and He satisfies our great lack, one hungry heart at a time. If you are troubled, consumed by the turmoil without and within please, take a second look at Jesus. Read the Bible and consider who He says Himself to be and use the power God gave you to be saved from the gaping need within that only, Christ can fill. In a world that seems bent on self-destruction, choose Jesus; receive true love and eternal life.

The Foundation

Father, strip me of all religiosity;

All I am pressured to be but am not;

The outward superfluity denying Truth,

Exchanging it for opinions the eluviations,

Of human thoughts and actions, the outward

Appearance of being something that is nothing;

Let my actions speak Your Truth louder than words

I write or say, that may cause others to think that I am

Something when I’m nothing, apart from You, Great I AM!

And Your Son Jesus, a person not a religion, who died for man;

Making it possible for me to walk with You each and everyday,

Secure in Your love, guidance, and provision on the Living way!

My Response to Terror and Persecution is Jesus

Invisible cords of deception are rising from the bottomless pit. Un-noticed ropes of deluded thought are winding, weaving, circling to bind opposing ideologies by an unholy knot of unity. Those who are down-trodden, oppressed, and tired of waiting for relief seek alignment with those who share their common enemies and for the sake of common hatred, set aside their differences. The unseen spiritual forces that move human beings like leaves in the wind are being utilized by the religiously crafty to form a new world religion, by introducing new age compromise to transform ideological foundations into a new world view. The disenfranchised of the world are locking arms (falling victim to the same cult practices of deception in many religious forms) in spiritual deception; and like many who have long been abused, are choosing to identify with the aggressor, adopting violence in hopes of destroying oppression and assuming power. (This is the heart and strength of terrorism, the exploitation of the uneducated and downtrodden.) Not realizing that if they should succeed, they will have become the oppressors, and freedom will elude them. Though the powerful who rule by force and the underprivileged who resort to violence, seek to destroy one another they too share a common enemy; that enemy is humanity’s pursuit of security though power and control over other human beings. Human hierarchy requires the existence of the powerful elite and the powerless. There is no escaping this dichotomy that is natural to human governance. No unity found through spiritual compromise in man-made religion can do anything to end oppression or bring lasting peace because oppressor and oppressed are two sides of the same coin.

Since Cain murdered Able, the justification for brother killing brother is often, religion. Today, Islam is the most recognized banner raised by those who seek to topple the powerful, who have long reigned under the flag of Judaism and Christianity; but people have fought wars in the name of every religion seeking God’s power as their own. What is common in men from every ideology is the desire to own God’s power and use His Name as a covering while committing violent acts in pursuit of security, by gaining power and control over others. It is easy to imagine God is “on our side” and never stop to consider if “we are on God’s side”. Able obeyed God and became a prey to Cain who chose his own method of sacrifice, in disobedience. Cain is the father of man-made religion and the first to murder his brother in an attempt to supplant his vision in the place of God’s simple command. Able sided with God and died, while Cain imagined gaining God’s power as his own and committed the first of many murderous acts that continue to fill the earth with blood. Choosing to do what is right can put us in harm’s way especially, in dangerous times; but choosing to do what is right is the only way to remain on God’s side. Though many will lift the banner of their preferred religion, philosophy, or political ideology, even to murder their brothers and sisters in its name while seeking power, it is what we are willing to die for that has any hope of ending the bloodshed and bring about peace, with true freedom. Oppression will never end until human beings surrender their need for control to God and submit to His personal governance. We are designed to obey God not be Him. The religious persecution that began when Cain murdered Able will never end until, people cease subverting God to their own purpose and stop seeking to force that purpose on others.

Though the political and religious leaders of our day are seeking global unity, we are living in fractured times. Pressure comes from all directions to align with one faction or another. I am responding by seeking to choose God’s side and alliance with Jesus. Though religion (even some religions bearing the name of Christian or claiming the Name of Jesus) may demand I prove my faithfulness by my willingness to kill those who oppose it, I know Jesus died for me and asks me to kill no one. Jesus lived the life of an underprivileged man, persecuted by powerful religious leaders, and was put to death for threatening their power, because He lived to please God and not the religious elite. Without any worldly alliance, the political system gave him no protection but surrendered Him to those who wished to usurp God’s power as their own. Jesus was willing to die in order to obey God and by doing so, He made the perfect sacrifice that freed human beings forever, from the need of religious ordinance to make them acceptable before God. Jesus didn’t live, die, and rise again to start a new religion. Jesus came to demonstrate how to live according to God’s Will, as the Son of God and the Son of Man. He came to die so those who believe in Him could receive eternal life, enjoy a personal relationship with the Father, and learn to live a different way; by surrendering the need for control to God and trusting Him for security. I trust Jesus, the keeper of my soul to be my source of courage in a world that seems to be surrendering to terror; and responding in fear, by choosing death for their perceived enemies, when the same enemy lives within them. I choose Jesus, the one who teaches me to love my enemies, and pray for them. He is the same one who gives me victory over the enemy within. I look to the example of Jesus, who ended my enmity with God and guides me in living an obedient, simple life. I trust Jesus, the one who promises that the meek, not the powerful, will inherit the earth. I wait for that day and look forward to living in His righteous Kingdom, in peace and true equality, when by God’s mighty work, the valleys are exalted and the mountains laid low. In response to terrorism and the increasing threat of persecution, I choose to mirror Jesus, the one who chose to die for me.

Joy Waits on God

I am war-weary, in need of a furlough, and awaiting an honorable discharge. I am battle-hardened but this war is long; it has been raging for centuries, filling the earth with blood. My enemy is a deceptive predator who sometimes, weakens me by sneaking into my thoughts. You see, I once fought on his side, he thought he owned me. I was his tool, a common weapon that he had no regard for, and he thought to destroy me just for the twisted joy of practicing destruction. Please understand, my enemy, who was once my master can only, destroy. He has no power to build and he is enraged because the purpose that drives him has only one end, his own destruction. He targets me with his vengeance because I am the tool he prized for dishonor that was rescued by the One Who limits his power; by giving him over to his own desire. Though I once belonged to the enemy and was set to suffer his fate, my Savior rescued me, cleaned me up, repaired me, and gave me a new purpose. I no longer serve the purpose of destruction. I now, serve a new Master, my Friend, Who is the author of eternal life. By His Mercy, I live to serve God and surrender all that I am for His honor and glory.

The war I endure as hardship is the war with sin within. Those old thoughts and desires that the enemy knows so well and does all he can do to re-ignite, in hopes of weakening me and bringing me down. He oppresses me by the sin that flourishes without, in hopes of making my new purpose ineffective. He attacks and wounds my flesh, he threatens my existence. He taunts me, deceives me, and sets traps to make me fall. He accuses me of the evil he wishes me to commit. He castes his shame on me, hoping to weigh me down with undo guilt. He mocks me as he also, mocks my God, my Savior. He surrounds me with clouds of confusion like poison gas. He’s desperate because he knows he’s fighting a war he can’t win and that desperation has driven him mad. His fury is unleashing now to destroy everything and everyone in his limited power to destroy. He seeks to destroy me and those others like me who belong to Jesus. He can drain our blood and break our bodies but our souls belong to Jesus, the One Whose body was broken, blood drained out, but rose to live again.

Though all who believe in Jesus, in whom the Holy Spirit dwells, be wiped from the earth, they will remain safe in Jesus, awaiting His return. Then the enemy of man, God, and life will have his full season; a short time to visibly reign as god and bring woe to those who remain on the earth. Then Jesus and His called out company will return and cut that awful season short; because God is merciful and does not rejoice in the death of the wicked. Then my enemy will do hard time, awaiting Judgment, an eternal sentence in the prison of the torture he invented and visited on God’s children; suffering the eternal torment that belongs to the enemy of God. Then I will receive my furlough, it will last 1,000 years, in a world very different from the world I live in now. Joy won’t have to hide. Joy won’t be frustrated. Joy will over-flow and rejoice in the rapture of ultimate liberty!

My honorable discharge will come on the day I set foot in the new heaven and new earth, after one final battle with Satan; but it will be short. By then, all will know Satan for the loser he is, and sin will no longer sting and infect God’s children with death. Until then, I wait for my Jesus to return, strengthened by the joy I have in Him; protected in battle, my wounds tended, and relying on God for final victory. When overwhelmed by the specter of the enemy’s destructive force, I look up. Jesus is coming soon and I walk by faith, not by sight.

Dusty Joy

Every day believers are exposed to a plethora of information, an overwhelming amount of data to process. It is becoming harder to decipher truth from fiction and genuine faith from deception. Christianity is rapidly changing due to the internet and many who name Jesus aren’t known by Him. His name is used to disguise ideas opposed to Biblical teaching and unbiblical agendas. The digital age makes it easy to package any counterfeit in an eye-pleasing manner to lure in unwary consumers. Beautiful memes containing a veneer of truth conceal subtle lies that subliminally entice believers’ away from the narrow path and rob non-believers of true saving faith in Jesus Christ. Bible verses pulled out of context and used as toothpicks to support man-made theologies is an old trick of deception that is highly effective in this era of too much information and too little wisdom. Even born-again believers, considered to be spiritually mature can be temporarily deceived when they neglect daily washing in the Word and spiritually collect the dust of human words and wisdom. The joy of Jesus is diminished when not properly nourished and no other diet suffices for spiritual health and a right spiritual attitude of joy than daily feeding on God’s Word. Even digital Bibles get dusty when set aside and ignored and no matter the advances of technology, the true source of wisdom hasn’t changed. Don’t settle for substandard spiritual truth; test the spirits by comparing every word written about Jesus (including mine) to the divine truth of the Bible.

Dear believer, if your joy seems distant and you are discouraged, confused; click the link that takes you to divine truth and away from the digital dust-storm of deception. Align your heart, mind, and actions with the Words of the Bible, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and bathe in the pure light of Jesus. Rejoice as the dust and dirt of human wisdom is filtered away; and find strength to endure this deceptive, abusive age, in the sure, future promises of God. Give your joy a daily dusting. Cling to Jesus! Hold on! He is returning soon!

Test the spirits by The Spirit

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Twisted Joy

The Christian faith is a gift received when we believe that God exists and loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus the Christ, to die as a sacrifice, and reconcile our relationship with our Heavenly Father, the Creator, the giver of Life. God is accomplishing this great work one individual at a time. Some possess knowledge of God by their childhood training and come to saving faith with Biblical knowledge of God’s plan. Others, like me, are brought to our knees when we recognize the great goodness of God in comparison to ourselves and in desperation, do an about-face in our walk on the broad path to destruction and embrace Jesus as Savior. Each type of believer is equal before God. He loves the knowledgeable child, trained in outward obedience but lacking in saving faith, as much as He loves the child brought up in spiritual darkness; and He receives them each of them only, when they see themselves for the sinners that all people are and accept Jesus as their Savior from personal sin and death. Jesus is the Door to eternal life and the only opening into the Kingdom of Heaven. Anyone who devises another plan to obtain a part in that Kingdom will be frustrated in achieving their final goal. Compliance to God’s plan is required of every new believer, no matter their background and noncompliance ends in twisted joy.

Biblical knowledge without the discernment of the Holy Spirit is dead and lifeless. The Bible says of itself that scripture is spiritually discerned. Knowledge apart from discernment is not wisdom but legalism and legalism can never impart the spiritual guidance every believer needs for survival in a sinful, dying world. Reducing God’s Word to rules produces a form of outer godliness but denies its power. The Bible is a His-story book. It is the His-story of God’s people in the past and the future, with God’s unique perspective that is supernatural guidance for His children today. It is the story of Jesus Christ from beginning to end. Though the Bible contains many commandments not to be ignored, they can’t be kept according to only, knowledge because they are Spiritual and only the Spirit is required to fulfill them. Knowledge obtained and practiced apart from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that comes only, by faith in Jesus is to twist God’s Word and reduce its power to the mind of carnal, unregenerate man. The result is dead religion, not unlike the religion of the Pharisees who hated Jesus and instigated His crucifixion. There is no joy for the adherents of dead religion but only, slavery that ends in death.

Those who come to Christ from a background of utter, spiritual darkness bring many worldly, twisted ideas and actions with them. When Jesus was revealed to me, everything about me was upside down to Him. I had no knowledge of God’s Word and any spiritual understanding I held was eclectic and somewhat, occultic and drug induced. Before I received faith, I tried to read the Bible a couple of times and I couldn’t make sense of any of it. Nothing in my life held a common reference point with the Words of the Bible. After conversion that changed but it took time to unravel my twisted view of God in relation to myself and others and transform my world view to one that revolves around Jesus Christ and not around me. I am guilty, as all new believers are guilty of twisting God’s Word to my personal view and cultural understanding. I’m thankful that I belong to Jesus and not doomed to knowing only, twisted joy. Like the peeling of an onion, God’s Word spoke to me in my-self-centered state and gave me the guidance I needed to change the outward sin habits that were destroying me. He gave me a hunger for His Word and a desire to know Him better that drove me deeper into God’s Word. He gave me good teachers, shepherded me away from bad teachers, and drew me to seek a deeper understanding beyond my personal salvation and revealed that I’m part of something huge, so much bigger than myself, with Salvation in Christ Jesus the focal point. The Bible is a spiritual book that speaks to me personally but it is a His-story book that reveals God’s plan for everyone. The Bible interprets itself as the believer learns a little here and a littler here and it builds to an overview that is God’s perspective of the world.(This is the Biblical World View that is being tossed aside today; not only by non-believers but by those who claim to know Jesus.) To understand that plan requires knowledge of the history that has been fulfilled and that which is yet to come. It is important to understand the culture at the time of its writing, the meaning of words at that time, and to search out the intent behind them. This clean, practical process combined with the Holy Spirit’s guidance into all truth, under the personal tutelage of Jesus, has knot-by-knot unraveled my upside down view and turned me right side up. With every twisted concept that is straightened, comes the blessing of personal joy as God’s righteous, restorative, eternal life giving plan is revealed. I will need to read and study the Bible for the rest of my life because when I turn away from it, I find myself retying old knots and I drift away from God, as I return to following my old nature.

Today, it isn’t popular to diligently, study the Bible and conform one’s self to God’s ways. There are many sound-like spirits in the world today, who claim the Name of Jesus but lead people far from Him. Too few take the time to test those spirits and the mindset of the church is to welcome all of them in and not offer Biblical correction. The result is deceived believers and would-be believers who will never experience the true joy found only in Jesus but instead, settle for the twisted joy of self accomplishment. Transformation doesn’t come from a God re-formed to suit self but only, by obedience from the heart, out of love, that conforms the believer to the image of Christ. The clay that imagines itself as the potter is living the original Lie that man can be God and create a god in their image that serves them. Human potters are only, capable of molding pots meant for dishonor and God’s wrath. There is no life in the carnal imaginings of mankind and though they name Jesus, their actions deny Him, and they don’t possess eternal life. They like the Pharisees are enslaved by false religion and seek to enslave others to achieve and maintain the power of their imagined greatness.

Doctrine and theology are important but the doctrines and theologies of human beings are false and at best, a combination of divinity and evil, as all human being are good and evil. The Bible is sound, correct doctrine for every true believer. Jesus is the correct theology to employ because unlike the theologies of men consisting of men’s words, Jesus lived God’s Word and by doing so, made God known to a world that places man in the seat meant only, for God. Man will never be served by conforming God to himself and no amount of imagining can make man more than just a man. It is deception powered by Death that ends in the eternal death of those who embrace it. Twisting God to our personal view is the foundation of a world characterized by immorality, earned love, war, confusion, hatred, murder, and strong delusion that embrace Death as ultimate power. Though it seems hopeless, there remains hope in the work God is accomplishing through Christ Jesus in unknotting one heart at a time. Though the world is dark, Jesus shines bright in the night of human sin, with the promise of pure love, peace, and joy. Now, in the hearts of those who embrace Jesus and seek personal conformation to Him, that will end when Jesus returns as the Messiah; and all the world is conformed to Him, the One true Son who lived to please and serve God rather than self and man. He is the author and finisher of eternal life and the giver of true joy!

The words written above are the words of a sinful woman, saved by grace, through salvation in Jesus Christ. I write them in testimony of His work in my life, with the purpose of pointing others away from the darkness that envelopes the world, to Jesus. I am no one special and though I seek to express my relationship with God through Jesus in a truthful way, my words are no replacement for God’s Word, written in the Bible. Jesus is the true Teacher, the Bible is true teaching. I write in hopes of directing every reader to seek salvation in Jesus and sound doctrine by personal study of the Bible.

False Religion is Clouded Joy

It should have been enough to end all religious confusion. The Son of God came to earth in the form of a man, lived a sinless life, was crucified, and rose to live again on the third day. This graceful action proceeding from divine love is enough to set all people free from bondage to sin and this was the reason for this act of profound love: that even while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us and paid the penalty for our sins so we can live and by faith, gain full liberty from our sin. There is nothing to add to the work of Christ Jesus which proceeded from ultimate wisdom. The centerpiece of God’s redemption plan is enough to confound every human philosophy, none of which can ever achieve anything more Truthful; but foolishness is persistent like the pride that births it and by its ever-seeking human god-like power, blinding religious clouds formed in an effort by human controllers, to apprehend God’s glory and harness His power as their own. Leaving the joy found in Jesus that blazes (that bright Morning Star) as simple Truth re-mystified and shrouded in clouds of human religious confusion.

The work Jesus accomplished on the cross is enough to satisfy (upon believing acceptance) every human need for holiness by revealed, simple Truth and obedient response. However, soon after Jesus completed His great work of self-sacrifice, mists from the depths of sin darkened human intellect began to rise and form disorienting cumulus clouds of confusion in preferred human teachers, doctrines, theologies, methods, and practice. All the boxes people create to conform and limit God to human understanding serve only, the evil purpose of categorizing uniformity that isn’t large enough to contain God’s universal Truth; but locks it away in a greedy hoard that creates a form of godliness but denies the power found only, by transforming faith in Jesus. Religion takes all the focus off of Christ and places it back on man and the silent awe and humbled human response that only Christ’s profound act of love can accomplish is forgotten, as strife rises and the bickering begins. Relationships are broken in disputes over how God’s Truth should be understood, expressed, and put into action. Pride surges in who knows more, who understands it better, who gathers more converts, what methods are best, which form of worship is correct, what theologian has the best theory, and Truth is left utterly, convoluted. Wolves seeing an opportunity in distracted believers enter by stealth and manipulate confused minds toward their own ends. Saying what one faction wants to hear and putting other factions down is the method wolves dressed as sheep use to divide believers and leave them vulnerable as prey. Led by wolves, believers begin to act like predators and rip, bite, and tear one another over each other’s incomplete understanding of Truth. Such disorderly conduct thickens the confusing clouds of religion making them nearly opaque and thereby, obscuring the Truth around which they formed. The outside world sees only, madness and those trapped inside spiral downward in diminishing purpose. The Truth is suppressed by those who sought God’s power for themselves, by human religion and the world flounders in spiritual darkness.

Still, enough is enough! No matter how dense the confusion caused by false religion, the Truth is enough! It can’t be altered by the astonishing nebula that swirls around it. Those who are of genuine faith may be confused and oppressed for a season but the Truth lives in them and by this Truth, the counterfeit is revealed. They are the small lights that reflect the true Light of the world; tiny beacons lighting the way out of the dark mist of religious confusion and pointing others to Jesus Christ and the work He accomplished on the cross. Lifting Jesus in lives of loving obedience and true testimonies of the power of God’s amazing grace and its life transforming power; so that others may look to Jesus for themselves and live. These are those who practice the pure religion of loving others in their affliction and living moral lives. On the day Jesus returns the clouds of confusion will forever, dissipate and never from again. On that glorious day when everyone will understand that Jesus is enough and all human controversy ends. Joy will crescendo in bright rapture and never again be obscured by the dense clouds formed from prideful human intellect, known as religion.

Romans 10:Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”[a] But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’”[b] (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’”[c] (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[d] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[f]
